This 2x4 jungle is the vertical members of the framework that will hold the 2 1/2 turn helix at the end of the phase 4 portion of the layout
Here, Bob Jones is assembling the spline roadbed on the lower level of the layout. The spline roadbed is comprised of 6 pieces 1/2" x 1 1/4" plywood
